CERCOPAN

Recently, I've been in touch with a primate rehabilitation centre known as CERCOPAN. I've agreed to a two-week volunteer program with them beginning in early May. I will be flying out to Calabar where they will pick me up and transfer me to their field site, Rhoko. I'll basically be living in a one room hut in the middle of the rainforest between Nigeria and Cameroon helping to rehabilitate Guenon's, Drill monkeys, and Mangabeys. They also do a lot of environmental education in the surrounding villages and are a strong advocate for rainforest conservation! I'm very excited to get out there!
