There is an end to everything, to good things as well...
The time has come, in just over 10 hours I will be boarding a flight taking me out of Nigeria and back to the western world. It's been one hell of an adventure. It will be weeks before I can actually process everything. What i can say is that the last three months have been absolutely amazing. Each experience has been unique in its own right. I've witnessed the resurgence of a budding democracy in Africa's largest nation, as well as the secluded depths of the Nigerian rainforest. I've enjoyed fantastic meals with international diplomats but I've found that the real joy has come from relaxing evenings at the "boulevard"--where I could sit down with my dad and indulge in cold beer and fresh Suya off the street vendors. Anywhere you go in Nigeria, you will hear the phrase, "You are welcome!" and that is exactly how I have felt. From the hustle and bustle of newly developed cities to the tiniest of bush villages, everyone has a smile on their face. Nigeria's vibe is totally consuming and you feel the hope/potential for this nation. Since being here, I have learned to take every day as it comes. Life can throw a lot of things at you, especially here, but with the right attitude anything is possible. It's a bittersweet ending, but I know this journey will stay with me forever. Life is good. Carpe Diem!
So here's to you Nigeria--thank you for everything!

Osprey Investments
I had the pleasure of spending the last few weeks in Abuja working with the wonderful people at Osprey Investments. I was able to see a completely different aspect of working in Nigeria and met some great people--I was even able to make a trip to an oil refinery and visit a community in Kaduna!

Guinness The Match: Argentina V Nigeria
On Wednesday, I was lucky enough to attend the football match between Nigeria and Argentina. It was an incredible night, highlighted by meeting the Vice President of Nigeria and Nigerian hip-hop star 2face Idibia. Nigeria ended up sealing a 4 to 1 victory over Argentina, although it has stirred up some controversy in Fifa.
